New Mexico’s bold step is part of a larger national trend. Legislative proposals in Connecticut (HB 7017), Colorado (SB 127, HB25-1292), and California (SB 330, SB 331, AB 745) all point to a growing recognition that smarter, more efficient, and more capable transmission infrastructure is key to realizing our shared clean energy goals.
These policies also reflect a deeper understanding of how advanced transmission technologies, including high-capacity, low-sag conductors like the ACCC® Conductor, can dramatically improve the efficiency and capacity of the existing grid without requiring extensive new rights-of-way or long permitting delays.
