CTC GLOBAL CORPORATION TRADEMARK POLICY FOR LICENSEES, CUSTOMERS, AND OTHERS

Introduction

CTC Global Corporation’s (“CTC”) trademarks and logos represent innovative and high-quality products and services recognized all over the world. These trademarks are CTC intellectual property that must be used properly, consistently, and meet CTC’s quality standards. Follow this Trademark Policy (Policy) to properly use CTC’s trademarks and logos in all documents and communications.

Using CTC’s Trademarks and Logos

Reference to CTC products and services by their associated CTC trademarks and service marks, must be accurate, fair, not misleading, and comply with this Policy.

Specifically:

• Use the appropriate trademark symbol and trademark acknowledgment of CTC’s ownership of the marks and/or logos in question.
• Do not make unlicensed use of CTC’s licensed trademark, such as the ACCC® Trademark. Third-party use of CTC trademarks requires a license or written permission from CTC.
• If you are licensed by CTC to use a CTC trademark or logo, your license agreement that you signed with CTC may have special trademark and logo usage guidelines different than the Guidelines set forth here. If so, please follow the special guidelines provided to you pursuant to your license agreement.

Trademark and Brand Policy on Symbols and acknowledgement

The following are guidelines for the use of trademark symbols and acknowledgments for CTC trademarks:

Trademark Symbols

• In letters, memos, press releases, white papers, advertising, slides, video, and other multimedia presentations:
  • Use the proper mark (®, ™ or SM) with all of CTC’s trademarks at the most prominent use (usually a headline) and again on the first occurrence in the text.
• In newsletters, magazines, and publications containing multiple articles:
  • Use the proper mark (®, ™ or SM) with all of CTC’s trademarks at the first occurrence in the Table of Contents, in headlines and on the first occurrence in every article in which they are used.
• In brochures, annual/quarterly reports, books, technical documentation, and other bound documents:
  • Use the proper mark (®, ™ or SM) with all of CTC’s trademarks on the first occurrence in the Table of Contents, in headlines, and on the first occurrence in text.
• In all charts or graphs, use the proper mark (®, ™ or SM) for all CTC’s trademarks, as they could be used independently from text.

Trademark Acknowledgments

• Properly footnote and acknowledge trademark ownership, identifying the marks as being owned by CTC. The complete acknowledgment line for all our brands can be found at the Acknowledgment line under each of our trademarks.

Numbers as Determiner

• When a number is used to describe a trademark, such number should appear prior to the trademark (e.g. 9.78 mm ACCC® Core).

Multiple Marks

• Where there are trademarks and other adjectives describing a product, the trademark will be followed by the adjective. When multiple trademarks describing a product or service occur, write the more general descriptor first followed by the more specific (e.g., ACCC® AZR™ Core).

Third parties with permission from CTC to use CTC’s Trademarks may use the mark where it is appropriate and shall do so in compliance with this Policy as well as any license or usage requirements of specific marks.

ACCC ^®

The ACCC® Trademark represents a line of conductors, the composite core used in the production of the conductor, accessories used for installation of the conductor(collectively “Products”), and services offered in relation to the installation and maintenance of the conductor. Only products made or services performed by CTC or its authorized partners may be referred to as ACCC® Products and Services.

Acknowledgement Line(s)

Whenever the ACCC® Name or Logo appears, the following footnote must also appear: ” ACCC® is a registered trademark of CTC Global Corporation in the U.S. and/or other countries.”

Whenever used in connection with licensed products offered for sale, the following footnote must also appear: ” ACCC® [Conductors/Accessories] are manufactured under license from CTC Global Corporation, in accordance with its technical requirements and specifications.”

Usage Guidelines:

The ACCC® Trademark is an adjective and should not be used as a noun. Proper nouns which ACCC® may precede include: Core, Conductor, Accessories, Hardware, Logo, Mark, Trademark, Brand, Name, and Services including but not limited to On-Site (OSS) Installation, Pre-Bid, and Stinging Plan Review.

The ® symbol is the proper trademark for ACCC and should be written as superscript to the right and above the name or logo. (e.g., ACCC® Core). When used in articles or documents use the ® symbol in the headline and or first prominent use, as well as the first appearance in the body or text. Always use the ® for product specifications, descriptions, or anything that could be used independently such as data sheets, graphs and charts.

Always – capitalize the noun that ACCC® precedes. (e.g., ACCC® Conductor)

Always – write ACCC® in all capital letters with no space between the letters.

Do Not – use ACCC® as an acronym for Aluminum Conductor Composite Core. The ACCC® Brand is not an acronym and using ACCC® as an acronym for Aluminum Conductor Composite Core is an improper usage of ACCC® that infringes on the ACCC® Registered Trademark. Never write Aluminum Conductor Composite Core (ACCC), or vice versa.

Although the ACCC® Conductor may fit under several different categories of conductors, the proper way to describe the family of conductors to which the ACCC® Conductor belongs to is the Advanced or High-Performance conductors.

Do Not – write ACCC® as “A triple C”, “A3C”, “AC3” or in any other variation of letters and numbers.

Do Not – use the ACCC® Name or logo in any way that is likely to cause confusion as to the origin of the product or service.

Do Not – use the ACCC® Name or logo without the written permission of CTC.

Do Not – use the ACCC® Trademark or name in a manner that is likely to dilute, defame, disparage, or harm the reputation of the ACCC® Brand and/or CTC.

Example of Usage:

InfoCore®

The InfoCore® Trademark represents the optical metrology inspection and communication system and components including computer software, and computer hardware. An ACCC® Conductor which integrity has been confirmed through the InfoCore® System is InfoCore® Certified.

Acknowledgement Line(s):

Whenever the InfoCore® Name or Logo appears, the following footnote must also appear: ” InfoCore® is a trademark of CTC Global Corporation.”

Usage Guidelines:

The InfoCore® Trademark is an adjective and should not be used as a noun. Proper nouns which InfoCore® may precede include: Confirmation Kit, Confirmation Services, Confirmation System, Reporting, System, Technology, Certified Conductor/Core, and Name.

The ® mark is the proper trademark for InfoCore and should be written as superscript to the right and above the name or logo. (e.g., InfoCore® Confirmation). When used in articles or documents use the ® symbol in the headline and or first prominent use, as well as the first appearance in the body or text. Always use the ® for product specifications, descriptions, or anything that could be used independently such as data sheets, graphs and charts.

Always – capitalize the noun that InfoCore® precedes. (e.g., InfoCore® Confirmation Reporting).

Always – write InfoCore® capitalizing the I and the C with no space between Info and Core.
