CTC Global’s Director of Public Policy, Mr. David Townley, participated in two important webinars this month. The first was with the MISO Environmental Sector and the Great Plains Institute. The second was with the Midwestern Governor’s Association.
Both webinars explored Advanced Conductors: What they are; how their innovative technology enables higher performance versus legacy conductors; and what are barriers to their broader implementation.
Each webinar provided a brief presentation of Advanced Conductor technology, applications, and performance – followed by a discussion session that explored some of the policy opportunities that could increase the adoption of Advanced Conductors and the resulting benefits for consumers, the environment, and sustainability goals.
