CTC Global is very grateful to have been part of the TenneT TSO B.V. Netherland’s ENS-ZL 380 kV (Ens-Zwolle) line upgrade, an integral part of TenneT’s BBB (Beter Benutten Bestaande) 380kV network reinforcement programme.
The triple-bundle, twin-circuit line needed to be upgraded to take in increasing flows of renewable energy from onshore and offshore sources and general electrification.
in spite of some very challenging weather encountered during the build-out. TenneT’s adoption of the ACCC® Conductor increases line capacity from 2,500 to 4,000 amps while increasing ground clearance with a minimum of civil works.
CTC’s ACCC InfoCore® System was utilized throughout project which provided ‘peace of mind’ to all stakeholders without disrupting the project flow in any way. The final circuit was energized at the end of June.
